Just Look at what Dr Miller was quoted as saying, and don't forget as CTO of Corning he oversaw the development of Corning "Gorilla Glass" which was a HUGE success in materials development! In fact, Dr Miller was credited with Corning's turnaround!
Dr. Joseph A. Miller, Jr., long time Lightwave Logic Board member commented, "Congratulations Lightwave. In my nearly fifty-year association with materials development, your accomplishment ranks right at the top. Your focus on polymer-based electro-optic systems recognized their potential to provide the highest speed in data communications. You have created a material set that could make that potential a reality. Such breakthroughs always bring great anticipation for the future. This is no exception."
Ok, so don't think for a second Dr Miller is making these statements without a BOATLOAD of rigorous testing AHEAD of this release date, likely 1000 hours or more!
simple math of hours passing, and not accounting for changing testing environments and such for various testings
2000 hours divided by 24 hours = 83 days (about 3 months)
3000 hours divided by 24 hours = 125 days (about 4 months)
4000 hours divided by 24 hours = 167 days (about 5 1/2 months)
5000 hours divided by 24 hours = 208 days (about 7 months)
The PkM (new) material system news release was Feb 28, 2019
Lightwave Logic's Plastics Defy Stereotypes and Save Power ENGLEWOOD, CO, Feb. 28, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
So if testing began right after this news release then
2000 by end of May 2019
3000 by end of June 2019
4000 by mid-August 2019
5000 by end of September 2019 (so around ECOC conference)
This means LWLG was most likely well over 2000 hours at the ASM in May 2019 where Dr Lebby was SUPER EXCITED about LWLG's future!
And, This means LWLG was most likely well over 3000 hours at the WTMF in June 2019 where Dr Lebby was SUPER EXCITED about LWLG's future!
And by ECOC in September 2019 LWLG should be at 5000 easily and I will bet Dr Lebby will be SUPER EXCITED about LWLG's future!
The much more likely scenario is that everything is incredibly good with the PkM Reliability Testing just as Dr Leonberger said it would be at the ASM,
Fred Leonberger: Great to see him there. He was very enthusiastic and said the data will come and "it will be great."
Six, did it cross your mind that the big company which is in the process to sell its incumbent silicon mobile chipbusiness to the big A. might Just want LWLG to lay low until the deal is consummated and they can focus completely on their datacom business with breakthrough technology? It is a possibility, is it not?
