IMO, Li's sense of self-preservation will overcome greed. Li will, IMO, do whatever the Chinese government tells him to do if he rewrites the PLA. He has much more to lose in China than he stands to gain in the U.S. He cannot simply abandon his holdings in China and thumb his nose at the Chinese government because he needs the infrastructure that he has created in China to make LQMT succeed.
There was a time I would have agreed to that, but not so much anymore. The development and Li himself have shifted to China. Nothing about Lqmt LF.
Also remember, LQMT HK is still in China which more and more is trying to infringe on Hong Kong's special status (thus the riots) as agreed to when the Brits turned it over.
