Then I have to assume, that if the FDIC is in control and there is no time limit for them to keep a bank “taking” open, that we will never get what is owed to us. I remember a financial statement issued by the FDIC with a footnote stating that the amounts in the report exclude WAMU which was stated to be $299 billion. How is that even rational?

Besides, as I remember, WAMU was solvent when “taken” which should never have happened. It was a criminal act and the FDIC needs to be held accountable. The issue of a fifth amendment violation has been discussed here many times. Either, give us the bank back or pay us for it.
