TM ...not to be picky but . When someones salary is 65K ( actually believe its higher then that for these reps ) the actual cost to the company is higher when you add on matching SS payments , unemployment , liability , worker comp insurance etc etc
I have no idea what the workers comp bill would be for these reps but if for instance they were hospitalized due to a car accident while actually working for AMRN ..ie visiting MD's ...that would be a worker comp payment .
Wether $140k or $200K a year ( total company cost )is really irrelevant IMHO . This capital raise is for far more then simply hiring and training 400 sales reps for a yr JMO Kiwi
T-Mac: With all do respect I feel your overall number is low. Especially healthcare. The number I quoted is essentially the mid-range for the pharmaceutical industry. The number takes into account some of the not so obvious things, like training costs, internal support, etc. Either way, the sales rep-sales force is the most costly part of the industry.
