I don't share all your pessimism. I think partly the pps got knocked down by those who knew this deal was coming. We got a small bounce from the bottom on this suprise not so great news today and I hope we'll see some more upward drift rather than further weakness after this.
I hope this provides enough $ to get us to topline data; this wasn't very much $ so this alone definitely won't carry us through to year-end unless they manage to cut cash burn by several $M per quarter which doesn't seem terribly likely. This was not a positive surprise tho it's hardly a surprise we continue to need to use any chance we get to raise $. And even if a 'negative surprise', in the scheme of things this is fairly insignificant if we don't overinterpret what it might imply about the timeline, i.e. I think it's only a months worth of cash.
