The post I was responding to stated that Atacama had discovered huge gold deposits. THAT was a bald-faced lie.

At this point they have accomplished little or nothing toward proving there's anything on their claims that resembles KL's. They can't rely on some 90 year old cores or data. They must start from scratch. While they could release some preliminary exploration/testing data, short of a full feasibility study after years of development, possibly followed by a production decision, they can't claim to have a "huge gold deposit".
