LOL.....one of the oldest promotional tools in the toolbox.....claim that your properties are close to, in the vicinity of, or "near" a producing mine, therefore, your claims must be fabulously rich too.
Barren rock can be just feet away from a producing vein. Not all portions of a fault or vein are economic. And some faults are not mineralized at all. Or mineralized with anything of economic value. A five-foot wide vein of nothing but clay, calcite or pyrite doesn't pay the bills.
