This post is illogical. However the increased OS count could be used for a forward split. As for example in furtherance of the shareholders rights program.

The limit on the number of shares is the AS, Authorized shares.

The OS, Outstanding shares, is the number of shares current issued.

AS minus OS equals the number of shares that could be issued by the company.

Right now that is approximately 49,000,000 shares. So to raise the $250,000,000 limit the shares need to be sold at a price of a little over $5 per share average.

If the share price rises on positive news like a successful Rett trail the number of shares needed to get to the $250,000,000 limit would be reduced proportionately.

Say the Rett and PDD trials are both successful and the share price hits $50, then the company would only need to sell 5,000,000 shares to get to the $250,000,000 limit.

If both trials fail the share price could fall to $1 and the company could only raise approximately $48,000,000 without increasing the AS.
