You are invaluable to this Board Falconer. When i read "mis-folded protein" in that paper my heart skipped a beat because I felt the story could ultimately have finished demonstrating how Anavex could help treat Parkinsons in this regard.

Im not a Science type so thank you for what you do in explaining it in detail.

i also believe Anavex "gets it" and their Gut Biomarker presentation in August is testimony of what they know and therefore how to treat these diseases. For Anavex to have collected gut data for years shows how advanced they are.

Add increased autophagy to the list of things that 2-73 brings to the party.

Autophagy when functioning properly destroys misfolded proteins along with other unneeded or damaged cellular components.

So 2-73 might directly address the Parkenson's disease in two ways. Prevent the misfolding to begin with and increase destruction of the misfolded proteins when they do occur.
