Early on, I posted that I would not enter opinions on the merits of litigation questions that others asked. It is not a function of anyone here to voice such opinions; that is a function of the federal judiciary, as those questions may arise. While I have 52 years of actual career experience(1964-2016) in .....

Rather I choose to skate along managing investments; with Amarin, I remain satisfied that Vascepa, with which I have 6+ years of personal experience, remains a new vehicle travelling on a new road to a new destination to achieve a new result not achieved before in me.

Elegant.

Wow..This is an internet MB..., Not a senate hearing...MBs are the "nesting ground" for "opinions"...You have no problem issuing statements on non legal issues such as other biotechs sandwiched in between your travel itineraries and comments about "the spouse"...But when someone asks you for an opinion about a subject you know something about...You take the fifth...

As a specialist you have the right to offer an opinion..Just state IMO or JMO...and everyone knows you are not making an absolute prediction..You are not being held to a standard where you can predict the future..Shareholders must take responsibility for their own investment decisions..

As an MD...just because I express an opinion on a medical issue does not mean I am held to a standard where I am always correct...biology and medicine have many ambiguities..and have levels of complexity which is equal to those found in the law...The law is reason void of passion..No such simplistic statement frames biology...

I agree with KIWI....and would love to hear your opinion on the Amarin patents...Regardless of the fact you might not know everything about them...I think a lot of posters would like to hear them

Kiwi, to this day I have not read all of AMRN’s patents in that suit, nor their respective claims/specifications, nor their respective prosecution histories and mountains of prior art cited in each. -north40000

Why not? If this is truly your area of expertise and if discerning the strength/weakness of a company’s IP is central to a proper valuation of that company, and if you are and have been for some time invested in AMRN, why have you not even examined it? Did you not want to uncover something you would not like?
