Raf - My best purchase of Amarin was my first one, which was 2,150 shares at $2.30/share on 7/16/16. It was due to an accidental (??) click on a link that led me to a Motley Fool page talking about Amarin, and it seemed too cheap and promising to pass up. That was the lowest price I ever bought it at, and it was crucial because it got me to pay close attention to the stock, do a lot of DD on this board and elsewhere, and prompted me to eventually buy 27,000 at an average of $3.02. My only regret was not buying a lot more on that first purchase, and that was only because my wife was only on board for buying a small amount. The shares I added later were all done without my wife's knowledge, but when she found out and I explained all of the info that indicated likely success of R-It, she eventually came around, and since 9/24/18 thinks I am a genius ;-). It has truly been life changing. It assured us (even at the current stock price) of having more than enough to pay for our kid's private school until they graduate, which made us comfortable enough financially to recently buy our million dollar dream house in the best part of town. I am waiting for the price to get to $50/share or more, via BO or organic growth, before we start selling any.

Raf - my best purchase was my first purchase in August 2018. I had been following and researching the Amarin story for a while. My wife switched jobs and I remember getting pissed at Schwab for taking so long to route her 401k rollover into a new TD Ameritrade account, as I thought there would be a share price run up in July/August. We rode 40k shares into 9/24 and bought another 20k shares that day in the low double digits. Not as low of basis as some here, but my timing was impeccable. ;)

raf....

Purchased in Dec 2015...60,000 shares between 80 cents and one dollar...

I post this in response to the poster who claims Amarim was only a 6 bagger...average share price was about 90 cents...I believe that is more than a 6 bagger...

I did suggest on the board Amarin shares at that time were like options without a X date...hope others were just as fortunate...I believe KIWI remembers this..

In order to try to teach my just turned 18 YO about taking some of her money and putting it away for retirement, I funded a Roth IRA for her with $2,000 (with lots of talk about her investing % of her summer job and future job money every year thereafter) and bought :

500 Amarin on 2/26/18 at 3.747 in her account

Not sure such "easy money" gave the lesson I was going for......

Touché to JL on 10 bagger, you are correct, I should have framed what I meant in terms of time frame and the general point I was making but, alas, I did not. Victory to you fine Sir!!

Raf, I purchased over 100k below a dollar. Had a total of 115,500 when I sold all for an average over $15.50 netting a profit of $1.65 million. Been buying back on the dips and now own 5k.
