I'm personally ok either way. Sure, a settlement will be faster, but a full trial could be enormous for QPRC, especially since this district, as you mentioned, has a history of favoring plaintiffs in patent infringement cases. If the AMZN case were the only lawsuit QPRC had going, it might be more nerve-wracking, but QPRC has more than enough fires going to keep us busy. If we keep winning settlements, then get a huge win from a trial, I'd be totally ok with that. :-)

Amazon has the cash flow to waste on trials.

They probably have a team of attorneys in retainer.

Oh well, Gilstrap already slapped Apple with a 500 mil lawsuit settlement.

QPRC could really hurt them bad especially with the discovery period and patent definition win of 10/11 claim constructions.

Let’s see where this goes.

What about the update makes you think it's going to trial. I'll say it again.. QPRC settles cases. The mediator is still working with parties a settlement can come at any time. Just like we've seen with other cases
