#233735 RE: Hansm7777 #233732

Well JMO but if they can gain approval for DCVAX-L despite the powerful thugs doing everything they can to prevent that from happening then we have a new and very effective treatment for GBM. I found this when I searched
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/14737140.2017.1351355

Malignant brain tumors account for 1.4% of the total cancer cases, with glioblastoma (GBM) being the most common in adults, with approximately 17,000 new cases per year in the United States

. . . so a very rough back-of-the-envelope is 1.4% of $133 billion is $1.86 billion very quickly ~ 2 years guessing.
If DCVAX-L is approved it would seem that Direct would received a good deal of new investment and be more quickly approved giving the L paved the way.
. . . so I looked quickly but couldn't find the percentage of solid tumor cancers relative to all cancers but let me very conservatively say it is half the cost. That would be roughly an $100 billion annually.
. . . so I think DVCAX is industry disruptive and gargantuan.
