Modern Healthcare:"Tenn. hospital shuttered one year after purchase by lab company"

"Jamestown's mayor said the hospital officially shut its doors Thursday at 7 p.m. Central Time. A note on the hospital's door said it would reopen in two weeks, but Mayor Lyndon Baines said he's not holding his breath."

"Baines, who said he was suspicious of Rennova from the start, said he wants to make it so not just anyone can buy a hospital. He wants there to be a mandatory inspection into the would-be buyer's finances, structure and history before such a deal can close."

I don’t think Seamus will have an option if the state decides to force the issue. They may not be able to prosecute him for anything but the business does operate on US soil.

IMO, that will be the most likely scenario. Either way, the hospitals will probably become profitable through public or private funding.

This coming Friday is another Rennova payday, I believe. Want to see how that goes especially for workers at the closed Jamestown hospital who are owed one week's pay.

Hearing anything?
