Med- Supplements and fatty acid formulations can not achieve the same levels as Vascepa without severe GI side effects. The number of capsules to equal Vascepa EPA blood levels is unrealistic for the entire supplement market.
Epanova, the fatty acid formulation, has a 15% diarrhea rate with the 4 gram dose...perhaps a 6 gram dose gets you close to the same EPA levels but make sure you’re wearing a diaper. AZN is SOL with Omthera M&A...literally.
There’s no equal to Vascepa blood levels or tolerability.
