Sorry for your loss AVII, while we may not agree on NWBO, I completely respect your opinion and while I believe the vaccine will prove worthy of approval, I fully realize that the Phase 3 Trial may not get the job done by itself. I also look forward to data on DCVax-Direct which I believe has greater potential long term than DCVax-L, not because L cannot be used in other cancers, it may very well be able to, but because Direct can be generated even before surgery, when surgery is possible, and could very well prove to be of benefit before surgery, as well as in inoperable tumors.

I know this company isn't the only one doing such work, but I believe it's more advanced than others I've read of. We all know of DNDN, and had it played out differently, it might be a world leader in this development, but it isn't. Many who traded it made fortunes, others lost their shirt, but conceptually they had the right idea, but their vaccine just wasn't that big an improvement on a cancer form that generally is well controlled by other therapies. In GBM other therapies aren't achieving 5 years or more for substantial percentages of the patient population. Certainly, even if approved, it will still be a target for much greater improvement which may come from treatment that's added to it, or may be treatments that replace it, we'll only know with time, and lots of new drug trials.
