My guess is that GSFI is willing to pay more than Ken ever did to release a PR.

my guess is that it is probably not hugely expensive to release a PR via Globe Newswire, but it may be more expensive than using the 'cheaper' services. Also, it appears that newswires provide tiers of distribution service. Again, I can't say which one they paid for, but it can't be a bad thing that Nasdaq news is in the tier they purchased. [But since Globe Newswire is a subsidiary of NASDAQ OMX company, maybe you get that with the cheapest tier, which, still, can't be bad.]
