I think that y'all are trying to make something simple that is not so simple. Fluid Dynamics is highly complex. I think the simple answer is that if you reduce friction and turbulence you're going to have a faster flow rate but I would need to dig in a lot more than I have time for this morning to remember why the AOT works so well. For me it's the new board of directors and this recent hire that confirms the science.
