You're being short minded, In my opinion. In the Medical field this treatment is beginning to be talked about and there are others who would fund trials, especially if smaller and faster (under one year) with accelerated approvals. You don't sit back and wait when you've finally gotten far enough along to not be constantly defending yourself daily.
The news is out in the Medical field, trust me. Foundations, Cancer groups, large Institutions, etc. know what's going on. You're not going to hear about these things in the news or on venues about people making money trading stock.
