North., I saw an eye-opening program on cardiac arrests last night. No one could watch it without scratching their heads and say, "What the hell is taking the FDA so long?". The human and financial cost to society is way too high not to get a priority review. I'd go so far as to say a standard review would be "criminal".
North....We have been waiting for 7 years for Amarin to get FDA approval...we may have to wait another few months for our "hockey stick" event...Do you believe we should start buying Athersys now with the intention of waiting another 7 years for a product that may or may not prove as successful as Vascepa?
Having said that, I visited my neurologist yesterday, who asked me whether I had heard about Athersys.
