While I don't care for the idea of the feds getting into Amazon's online monopoly, I'd like to see the tiger defanged.
Too many retailers have been driven out of business or have been marginalized by the giant.
I like Walmart. It's not my first choice but while I'm at Home Depot in the city over I stop there for toiletries and sunflower seed for the feeders. Their electronics are priced better than Amazon's and now you can get one day pickup or delivery on many items.
Walmart didn't kill other retailers as had been surmised when they did their massive nationwide rollout of new stores. Other stores adjusted to Walmart's offerings. Not so with Amazon.
Amazon employs feed machines and the jobs are physically challenging and repetitive. There's no where to go.
