This is an interesting supposition. Without a doubt LQMT hasn't the mid frame production capability at LF at present (if ever) but how can we know for certain what's going on in China with EON? Sounds like a major build out is occurring to do just that.
I took Bromage's quarterly comments as strictly referencing the LF situation.
IF...and it's a big IF…we were to receive some type of royalty percentage at LQMT USA off mid-frame manufacturing in China later this year I would welcome that. If you think about it…that extra income could be a way Prof. Li had always intended to partially fund the LF facility UNTIL some actual large contracts came in for USA manufacturing.
