Yes, well I think you ignore the fact that the setup still attracted a huge investment from Woodford, a very non-trivial endorsement. That is until he publically trashed LP, suddenly agreeing with the shorts (with his nonsense claim that he had never heard their allegations even though almost all had been previously made by AF before they were typed up by 'phase 5') and thereby giving them the all clear signal to trash his own investment. Very curious behavior, that. But certainly, the setup was ripe to be trashed and shorted regardless of the pros and cons, and Linda took way too long to react and slowly fix the issues with Cognate when the stock started getting trashed. Her moves were very welcome but too late to do much to protect the stock price from cratering.
