Let us assume your story is a fact, but no worry at all as LWLG will have P2IC with 50gb, later 100gb modulators on P2IC along with other devices like lasers——etc. Also P2IC will let PIC be able to hook up to gain LWLG’s P2IC advantages/ edges.

Ha! Please provide a link to these "massive orders" you claim!

From the Ayar Labs website and news releases I see the following,

1) Production expected 2nd half of 2020

2) Reach less than 2 Km
(not competing with LWLG's Reach 10 Km and greater)

Also, I am hearing there are early degradation issues still with their chips, let's see how they fair in their upcoming reliability testings

I just found this picture of a shipment they did... must be billions of dollars in wafers right...
