You do see the algae in the SHMP shrimp tanks, right? Everything is not filtered out. I don’t know the rating of whatever filter SHMP uses but I’d be surprised if it were 5 micron. More likely 10 or even 100. You need 0.45 micron to filter out “everything”.

You have no idea what is in ocean water.

The ocean is absolutely full of viruses.
