I am encouraged that someone actually did some research!

But, this is not a reclamation project. It is a mineral recovery (i.e. mining) project. Hondo went through the same thing, with the very same pile of tailings. They got hit with violations by the State for ignoring the regulations, and ultimately, Hondo went away and investors lost everything.

Those tailings are highly toxic - a couple percent lead is the main problem. There is very little gold or silver. The cost to do things right (permits, etc.) do not nearly make up for the precious metals that might be recovered.

If you are mining and recovering a commodity, and pretending you are not by calling it "reclamation", you will find yourself in trouble. No matter how big or small the area is.

When Hondo Mining was promoting the tailings pile in Chloride, they also tried to claim that what they were doing was "reclamation". It didn't work, the State inspected and issued them a NOV for disturbing historic tailings pile. They were ordered to submit an APP application and that is about when Hondo disappeared.

I have a question for you - how come this company is claiming to recover tailings, when in fact, there are almost no tailings on the parcel that was recently bought? Most of the tailings pile is on the parcel to the north. Where are they getting these tailings supposedly worth $22 billion - stealing it from their neighbor?
