What I saw was the autopilot was engaged for about 10 seconds. At 60 mph, the car would travel just under 900 feet (300 yards). Which means the truck was probably visible when the driver engaged autopilot! What exactly was he thinking and just what was he doing during those 10 seconds?
The report also says that NO EVASIVE ACTIONS were taken by either the driver or the system. Perhaps the driver was just testing the system!
