A little boring except for definitely confirming that mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammation are hallmarks of PD and subject of intense research. Not really a session to review specific trials, but more a primer on the importance of genetic research.
Most of the discussion was about DNA and RNA expressions, etc. and promoting their genetic research study. Not much attention spent on causality, though they did touch on one of my questions about mitochondrial dysfunction. All they said that there's evidence of that in PD and that there are studies exploring the relationship.
