I imagine the armies of programmers you mention are very occupied with security issues at the moment, as well as maintenance, and would have no problem with a third party using their own resources for integrating interactive video, especially as it is an unknown for the CRM platforms, as there is none so far and no track record. You do make a valid point that there could be competition.
