Let me see if I understand. Aus and Japan cooperate on drug development/approvals. Asia generally follows or is led by Japan in drug development.
EU and AUS cooperate on drug development and approvals. Therefore AUS can act as a bridge between Asia and EU in drug development and the slow moving US FDA is the odd one out.
