FDA label has nothing to do with SOC guidelines. Every doctor should know this. Medical societies do not need to seek any permission from the FDA.

It certainly runs against precedent, but the lost opportunity cost is formidable.



Last time and then you guys are on your own.

It is not against precedent. It is common. There are tons of examples of drugs becoming a standard of care without an indication and many cases where they never get the indication at all, ever.

The FDA does not dictate society guidelines. They cannot stop a society from including a drug in their guidelines. They have no input.

I understand aspirin for soc. But not Celebrex or thalidomide if they were soc those idiots should be shot
