I think it's premature to say that. We don't have a clear picture of what the interest is or on what terms. We didn't have our EOP2 meeting until mid December. In addition to that, we started pursuing a number of efforts in the EU including patents, incorporation, and trial discussion with the EMA.
A substantial B-OM deal is just as likely as no deal at all. It's a coin toss in this fog of negotiations. Everyone is underestimating just how long these things take. I won't even grant that the original termsheet is canned...6-9 months from there was my expectation of a deal. That leaves 2-3 months on the clock before I would really consider it dead.
When you say we know why, are you referring to Leo? Or are you also referring to us shareholders? If Leo then I cannot imagine why he and B would be saying some of the things they are.
