We shareholders. The term sheet disappeared after the BTD deadline, where mention of BTD also disappeared. It seems that the potential partner's "further due diligence" was getting the FDA decision. (It was not clinical DD, the B-OM data had already been out for 5 months.) It was also a 'milestone' condition for the last Aspire deal, if we recall.
So now we're going to the other pharmas that had expressed interest, to see if they're still interested. We're getting meetings apparently ("advanced discussions"), I'm just not sure of the outcomes. It does appear there's some interest left. This would explain our optimistic efforts with the EMA. But interest is not a "yes" nor a guarantee of one. Hopefully one will pull the trigger.
This is not where I expected us to be two years ago. It's amazing how quickly prospects change in biotech. Often it's for the worse. Such a risky business.
