If I were bent on shorting NGL I'd probably make some of the same arguments you're making.
However, NGL has been the perfect lady for me---paying me handsomely throughout my four year courtship with this particular MLP.
Arguments aside, the fact is that many of us are beautifully better positioned financially due to holding NGL. I know of nobody who is positioned as a current holder of NGL showing a net loss.
The only risk of a concern to me is that I'll suffer a trauma requiring that I abandon my investment here. And I'd have to be dead on arrival for that in which case it won't be meaningful to me.
NGL has been my perfect dance partner through thick and thin. Nobody is going to frighten me out of my strong ownership position for I've gained far too much to be scared.
There are so many parts to the NGL picture puzzle...I won't bother going into enumerating them. But I will add that they continue to have me excited and I'm not worrying in the least for I know what this company and its management are capable of accomplishing.
