Please explain how Nash caused her patent to be invalidated. That’s the heart of the matter. There can be no patent infringement claim because Google sought to have the patent they were alleged to have stolen invalidated, and succeeded. VLL (the patent owner) appealed and lost the appeal.

What difference does it make that Nash was opposed to the lawsuits? She was right to be opposed.
