BO price = x times prevailing market price before BO announcement


I just don't agree with this.

BO price = price (in billions, in our case) that the buyer has agreed to pay the seller.

BO PPS = BO price / total outstanding shares.

Premium (calculated AFTER the fact) = BO PPS / PPS before × 100 (%)

If the ultimate BO value is $60, AMRN needs to grow to at least $30/share on its own merits, by beating quarterly sales forecast


You are counting this backwards. If the ultimate value is 60, why would Amarin need to do anything? You already said what the value is.
