I don't know, but with all the BS claims that they are using about how they use the "Force" to keep the water pure and the SHMP critters healthy, it is not listed in their primary patent claim of the patent, claim 1, and not mentioned on their web site.
Are they using ozone??? Why not tell folks if they are???
Ozone in water is the safest disinfectant there is for an initial kill. It has a very short 1/2 life, so it takes a trace amount of chlorine working in a team effort, but better to use a trace of chlorine than tons of it, that create massive amounts of carcinogenic chloramines as buy products. Lots of pools and spas use ozone now too as the primary disinfectant so they can use less chlorine, cooling towers too. Europe has been using ozone instead of chlorine foe 120 years now. US/Dow Chemical pushed the chlorine process tell 30 years ago when folks woke up and pushed back to reduce carcinogens in tap water.
