Hey Coach! One other thing…
Heard from the General Manager lately?
You know Coach, you haven’t had a winning season since you’ve been here. Your starting quarterback left the team and went back home and afterward you said that “value wasn’t being realized.” Really! Listen man, you’ve got to pay top players in this league if you want to contend… and he was simply the best! And you let him walk!
Fans are watching you Coach. And talk about fans boycotting games because management allowed their players to take-a-knee during the Anthem, likewise… you and your staff better know what you’re doing with your knew game plan that you devised a few weeks ago. In other words, you’d better start winning – and fast! Or fans won’t pay to see your games anymore. They’re tired of losing seasons Coach. And you’d better hope that you get a new QB that’s even half the player that Phil was – and quick – or you’ll be lucky to sell one ticket to your remaining games.
This season’s over in a little more than two weeks and I would imagine that GM Keen is watching closely the effects of your February 25th scant update to fans… which by the way, reminded me of the advice from one of the keenest minds that ever played the game. Here it is for your useful information…
“You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going, because you might not get there.” Yogi Berra
