they made solid money

but wrote down the value to them of the servicing rights on a huge portfolio as interest rates dropped reducing the expected time each instrument they now serviced would be around (dropping interest rates mean accelerate refinancing which kills exiting mortgage paper being serviced for profit by COOP)
