fine- understood. In a CC they talked about this. Their concern was increasing it all at one injection site might cause a reaction that would create a stir. They decided to split the increased dose in two injections each arm knowing no reaction at the levels ever caused a reaction. SMART CALL. To skip this and request IV increase dosage would've thrown out their FDA submission into another category. Re-submission goals re-established, etc, etc. FDA would ask do you want approval SC or IV, make up your mind?
Pro-140's goal is against competition in IV and HAART....Once a week SC is the new better choice. They stuck with it and did it splitting SC in two separate injections separate arms.
I hope those that read here for guidance but do not post understand this. It's a quality of life approach in HIV defense.
