The entire 'lag' was from one party rule and that party has been in total disarray for years. Nothing Canadian matters below the border with the possible exception of maple syrup and a stand out hockey player. The US hedge funds that moved into Canadian MJ will depart just as quickly when the US goes legal because a border matters when it comes to trade. The US has a history of protecting industries as they start up and they will do so again and with the extreme high valuations folks in Canadian MJ stocks need to remember to claim profits when the plant is legal in the USA. The USA market is not the elephant in the room - it is the room.
