Real easy to figure out. It just validates that the VPLM story is not viable and that NO ONE on wall street buys into it and hat the SUPPOSED hundreds of billions of dollars of royalties at hand are just a pipedream.

Again, VPLM does not own the mother patent to all VoIP. They own some cog-in-the-machine patents related to VoIP, as do slews of other companies. For example, there's at least 151 results searching Google Patents database for "voip routing".

So, assuming VPLM's patents even survive PTAB, and also survive ALICE, they still have a long, long way to go. They'll have to somehow prove that some company out there in the world is using their specific IP as opposed to their own unique methods, or some other company's methods.

However, as seen in their court filings they don't have any idea what specific products are using their IP. They're just making vague, blanket guesses, much like their apparently vague, abstract patents (according to those that they're suing).
