Very well thought out, Jeffsky, and I agree completely. I'm really pleased that Pelosi has stated that impeachment of Bush is off the table. I believe he knowingly lied to get us into Iraq, leading to the deaths of thousands of GIs, and 150 thousand Iraqis. That is certainly is impeachable. But to go for impeachment now would derail the Democrats, and ensure that we would be back out of power in two years. As you said, this wasn't a vote for the Democrats. It was a vote against Bush, and a vote for change. We will do much better concentrating on getting as many changes in place as possible, and working with Republicans to repair as much of the damage from the last six years as possible. I hope they will be willing to work with us and not just play the same politics they've been playing for too long. And I hope the Democrats don't make the same mistake and try to ride roughshod over the Republicans. We're going to have to work together.
