But that's really no substantive change from 2017.

They are recommending Rx-grade omega-3 FAs for patients with TG >500 mg/dL. Recall that REDUCE-IT enrolled patients with fasting TGs of 135 to 499 mg/dL.

So they are not accounting for the REDUCE-IT results yet.

Also if they really meant Vascepa they would say "icosapent ethyl".
