The fact that we now officially know Cisco has been in settlement discussions with company should be exciting enough for the shareholders regardless of the outcome of the discussion.
At least, it puts the "patents have no value" joke to bed for good.
I believe all the documents in the 400+ pages are past documentation provided to the courts and the first document is the outcome of the PTAB which found certain patents unpatentable. These are all old documents that Robert Whitman submitted to the court.
The short document tells me that there is a current ongoing discussion to settle.
