I'm with you totally on this. I picked up 8,000 NGL yesterday and had a feeling strong news would be coming out shortly. So, instead of closing out the trading units, I decided to hold them into next week unless a good gain were to come our way. The cost basis is $13.21 on these units so patience is going to be key.
NGL's payout rate greatly exceeds Ameritrade's margin interest rate so it's not very painful to hold on for the moment.
Interestingly, this shipping capability was my main beef with the latest HC article inasmuch as it had been omitted from the author's consideration as a bright spot as NGL moves forward. Yet now, this is the first item expected to be accretive immediately
Some look to the numbers in retrospect while others pull them together before the future becomes history.
I prefer the latter's odds.
