I'm not too surprised that they did not do a complete harvest.

Several reasons. First, Finding a market for 6000 to 9000 lbs of fresh shrimp all at once is no small task.

Second, having a tank full of growing large shrimp will have a big impact on anyone that is interested in a license deal.

Third, the shrimp are still growing and increasing in value as the size increases.

Fourth, demonstrating that they can grow jumbo shrimp will increase the appeal of the system to prospective licensees. It further validates the system.
