I don't think boris was right on that tax issue, I think you will get a check, no taxes withheld, and if your escrows are in an ira, you can deposit that money into the ira, and pay the tax as you withdraw the money.

Goodie make sure you deposit check into your Roth IRA as a direct rollover. Make sure when you file your taxes for that tax year you indicate that is was rolled over and should not have tax implications. Don’t think the check will have any tax withholding but if there is. Contact your cpa. You might be able to get a deduction on the withholdings
