While I would agree that this hire was a good move, I disagree with your statement that increasing shareholder value is her primary responsibility. At least I disagree with that statement without expanding on it.

This is a relatively small company, her role is likely more hands on with day to day management involvement that would not be the case at a larger company with hundreds of employees and multiple department heads. Her primary responsibility; I would argue, is to lead the company in a gainful direction that eventually leads to a successful product, market share and ultimately an increase in shareholder value. If she was focused entirely on regular press releases when there is no real new information, some might argue that she was pumping.

From what I can see, she is doing a good job at leading the company but short term penny flipers would prefer she spend more time talking about speculation so they can profit from the markets response. She did sell a big chunk of her own stock and loan the company 4mil $ recently (to be paid back to her in stock at a cost per share of $2.30). I think her intentions are to make this company succeed, guess we will have to wait and see :)
