That's the usual situation with these cheapies. Everyone wants millions of shares. A few claim to have millions of shares. Those claims are associated with hopes of becoming a millionaire when the share price hits "silver", then "paper".
Does anyone think that the Big Money is going to let that happen? It's NEVER happened.
What DOES happen is the price continues to drop, as more shares are bought in order to average down, which of course everyone thinks is a smart idea when the shares are so cheap. Cheap for a reason.
And what happens so frequently is a reverse split that reduces those millions of shares to thousands, then hundreds.
I have a holding that went from millions of shares, down to ONE share by way of repeated R/S.
And that share is worth .0006 now.
Get the idea?
Bothers me when I own a little of a stock, hoping to make a little on a well-timed trade, and then there's all these message board millionaires bragging (lying) about owning millions and millions of shares.
I hope they don't, because a stock will never move as long as Little Guy has millions of shares, and wants to go for an easy ride to riches.
After 17 years at this game.....it never happens. Never seen it happen. Never heard (legitimately) of it happening. NEVER.
